La obra de Dani-Blood es una representación de la violencia y de la fealdad, de lo mostruoso.
El Arte no tiene por que ser siempre bello. El arte puede ser radicalizado y pasar de tomar la imagen del mundo a usar el propio cuerpo como imagen. Dani Blood desarrolla un romanticismo efimero, un cinismo que limita entre el arte y el grito… aquí el arte es simplemente una excusa, una manera de presentar un ejercicio violento estetizado,… perverso ,… con unico fin por y para la violencia. Visto así ¿es arte?, ¿por qué no va a serlo? Ya en aquellos años se aceptaba que el arte no tenía porque ser bello. La fealdad, lo monstruoso, la representación de la violencia y el mal son también exitosos medios artísticos de comunicación y portadores de diversos sentidos.

The work of Dani-Blood is a representation of violence and ugliness, and of thr mostrous.
Art doesn’t always have to be beautiful. Art can be radicalized and you can use one’s own body as way of creating an image of the world. Dani Blood develops an ephemeral romanticism, a cynicism that borders between the art and the cry… art here is merely an excuse, a way of presenting a stylized violent exercise… perverse … with a single purpose, by and for the violence. Seen in this way, is it art? Why wouldn’t it be? In those years art was accepted not to be beautiful. The ugliness, the monstrous, the portrayal of violence and evil are also successful ways of artistic communication, and carriers of various meanings.
